Downtown Santa Monica has a slew of recently constructed mixed use apartment buildings with empty ground floor retail spaces just begging for food and drink operations. One such new complex on the north east corner of Lincoln and Broadway has several new tenants moving in. Starbucks is already open, meanwhile Fresh Brothers pizza launches its eighth location here tomorrow. It's the company's largest restaurant to date with seating for 45. In addition to its tried and true California take on pizza, Fresh Brothers has a license to serve wine and beer on tap.
Also under construction is a location of Jersey Mike's Subs and Pono Burger. [EaterWire]
