As mentioned, the British-owned Fresh & Easy market chain, which operates many Los Angeles locations, may cease existence. Last night the company's Corporate Director blasted out a sad note explaining Fresh & Easy's current state of affairs, which doesn't sound promising: "As you may have already heard, yesterday Tesco announced to the London Stock Exchange that it is undertaking a strategic review of Fresh & Easy. This review will consider all outcomes. These might include us selling Fresh & Easy, partnering with another company or closing the business. As a result, it is likely that Tesco's presence in America will come to an end." [Racked]
