Eater's 4th Annual Hottest Chef in LA Contest Starts Today

LA has been hot hot hot lately, thus it's perfect time to launch Eater's hotly anticipated Fourth Annual Hottest Chef in LA Competition. This year reader-nominated chefs will battle it out for the coveted title of LA's Hottest Chef through daily polls, and the champion will go on to face the winners from our sister sites until a national winner is crowned.

How it works: 32 chefs will compete in eight preliminary rounds of four chefs each, with Eater LA readers doing the voting. Then we go on to Round 2. There are a lot of new faces this year, so let's hope a newbie gives title holders Jen Green and Danielle Keene a run for their money.

As is always the case, we'll be keeping a close watch on any suspicious behavior, and disqualifications are always an option. So let's make it a clean fight.
