Philly-based chef Jose Garces, operator of Garces Restaurant Group - a collection of eateries mostly focused on Spanish/Latin American cuisine - will open two restaurants, Tinto and El Jefe, inside the swanky new Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs on February 17.
Tinto, Garces' flagship eatery born in Philly, takes form as a wine bar serving tapas from Spain's Basque region, meanwhile new concept El Jefe serves small plates inspired by the eclectic medley of Mexican food and drink found in Mexico City.
For those who plan to be local, Garces will be in town from February 17-20 to cook and chat with diners.
