Bagatelle Brings the Party to La Cienega

Status: Opens today
After a round of private friends and family dinners last week, tonight marks the first official evening of service for Bagatelle, that (originally) NYC-based French restaurant and dayclub which, over the years, gained notoriety for rowdy weekend bottle-popping brunches. Party like it's Friday night 2009 at Voyeur, orrrr Sunday afternoon 2012 at Bagatelle. But, those brunches don't kick off for at least a few months. In the meantime, chef Scott Quinn of Bouchon in LV is serving this coastal French/Mediterranean menu, and here's an almost complete look inside the space remodeled from Boudoir/Coco days by BRASA. In this new incarnation the restaurant incorporates sliding glass panels and sidewalk seating, so basically Bagatelle opens right out to La Cienega. DJs are planned for Wednesday and Saturday nights, so until brunch kicks in, that's the party situ.

As a recap, Bagatelle is a joint venture between nightlife vets Remi Laba and Aymeric Clemente of Brand Essence Hospitality Group along with Jonathan Segal and Celeste Fierro from The ONE Group. Hours of operation run Monday, 6-11PM; Tuesday-Thursday, 6PM-midnight; Friday, 6PM-1AM; Saturday, 7PM-1AM; and Sunday 7PM- 11PM.
