3rd Street Station is no longer the newest kid on the W. 3rd Street block. Welcome to Burger Kitchen's QUICK replacement: Luigi Osteria, a casual new Italian spot soft opened yesterday by Tony Riviera of Primo Hospitality Group (Caffe Primo), designed by Ellen Morrow out of Seattle.
The casual neighborhood osteria specializes in classic Italian fare at an affordable price point as follows: spaghetti with red crab sauce ($17), angel hair pasta with white truffle shrimp and avocado ($18), spaghettini pomodoro ($12), chicken Marsala ($16), and chicken cacciatore ($15). This week dinner will be served, with weekend brunch rolling out on February 25 (9AM-3PM). Weekday lunch begins February 27. Hours of operation will run Mon to Fri noon to 3PM for lunch, and 5:30-11PM daily for dinner.
