Organic Rice Bowl Truck 'Go Chew' Rolls Out Feb 18

New, 2 comments

Wow, it has been a full month since we last wrote about a food truck. Remember the days when food trucks sprouted multiple times a week? Anyway, there's a new one launching on February 18 and it's called the Go Chew truck from chef Charles Slonaker who says in the past he has worked at Noma in Copenhagen, Comerç 24 in Barcelona, Nobu 57 in NYC, and Valentino in Las Vegas. And now, he's going to launch a pop-up food truck serving organic rice bowls for the next six months. Slonaker explains, "the menu will change on a daily basis and the menu will continue to evolve throughout the period that we are opened. This truck is more of a project more than anything. I plan on shutting it down after six months in operation regardless of how well or bad I am doing and continue traveling and growing and as a cook."
