This right here is a look inside Mexicali Taco & Co.'s soft opening party last night. Remember, YOU can score your very own vampiro starting February 15. While the space is simple and small, stocked with lipstick red picnic tables, it's still a far cry from Mexicali's original stand located at 1st and Beaudry. Such an establishment was made possible thank to new partner Paul Yoo who joins Mexicali creators Esdras Ochoa and Javier Fregoso. As for the menu, all the usual suspects are on there, prices are a bit higher, but that's what happens when you operate an actual restaurant. No booze, just aguas frescas, Mexican coke, Sidral, and other "can drinks." For all sorts of food porn, jump here.
