Gene Simmons Joins Rock & Brews Team For Relaunch

Rock & Brews isn't a new restaurant. The rock 'n' roll- themed pub, located on Main Street in El Seguno, opened in 2010, and word just in that Gene Simmons, as in The Gene Simmons of KISS, has partnered with original owners Michael Zislis (The Strand House) and concert promoter Dave Furano for a venue revamp on April 3. PR says that the gimmicky restaurant will serve, as the name suggests, "rock musicians’ favorite foods and highlights an ever-changing, award-winning craft beer selection with hundreds of artisanal breweries featured from around the world." They have been and still are going for an atmosphere "reminiscent of being back stage at a rock event."

In other news, Rock & Brews is looking to expand to LAX, Denver, Atlanta, Maui, Tokyo, and Cabo. [EaterWire]
