LAT Festival of Books Announces Chefs; The Getty Dishes

CALENDAR— The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books today announced its line up of chefs who will either demonstrate a recipe or engage the audience in discussion: Josiah Citrin, Chris Cosentino, Michael Voltaggio, Gail Simmons, Alice Medrich, Debbie Lee, Anne Burrell and Nancy Silverton will the the stage at this year's event on April 21 and 22. MALIBU— The Getty Villa will host a formal prix fixe lunch as part of its Celebrity Chef Series on Wednesday, April 4. Author Frances Mayes will speak about her new cookbook, The Tuscan Sun Cookbook, and a menu of Italian dishes will be prepared. $75 a person, or $90 with wine pairings. [EaterWire]
