This is Boardwalk, formerly known as Boulevard Tavern, formerly known as Essex Public House, formerly known as Parc. The Room Group, responsible for year and a half old Te'Kila up the block, slightly deconstructed Boulevard Tavern/Essex into a less crafty beer bar and American restaurant open daily from 11AM to 2AM. Kris Keith/Spacecraft's original Essex aesthetic remains largely in place, from lighting fixtures to flooring, nonetheless within just four days of opening the venue already has close to 4,000 Likes on The Facebook. Wow. Apparently Hollywood is just looking for cheap beers and Happy Hour deals. [EaterWire]
