Share Our Strength’s annual Taste of the Nation is one of LA's top foodie events and draws together the city's culinary elite. This year Taste of the Nation leaves Culver City and lands in West Hollywood at The Lot on June 10 from 1-4PM. Right now tickets cost $160 for VIP (grant access to a VIP area with fonuts and UMAMIcatassen’s PIGG by Chris Cosentino plus score a swag bag), $110 for general admission, $25 for kids 12 to 18, with kids under 12 free. OR, another option is to buy a "passport" for $500 which enables you to attend up to five Taste of the Nation West Coast events. It's also important to note that a full 100% of proceeds goes to Share Our Strength, a nonprofit that combats childhood hunger. So far the following restaurants are committed: Culina, Whist, BLD, Border Grill, Ray’s & Stark Bar, SimonLA, ink.sack, Lukshon, and Father’s Office. But, of course, many more to come plus tons of wine, beer, cocktails, and coffee. Here's how it went down last year.
