Chef Marcel Vigneron (The Bazaar, bar210), perhaps soon deserving of the title "Pop-Up King" himself, along with friend Haru Kishi (Chaya Brasserie), are staging a culinary happening over Easter Weekend, April 6-8, at the shuttered Gonpachi in Beverly Hills. The Coop is a five-course brunch pop-up taking place from 10AM to 2PM and costs $38 a stomach. The menu: Egg and truffle; salmon mi-cuit with deconstructed egg; nesting egg with bacon; black tiger chawan mushi; and strawberry & sabayon with bread pudding. Beer, Champagne, and sake on offer. To score a seat email ReserveTheCoop@gmail.com. [EaterWire]
