BEVERLY HILLS— Remember HOME restaurant aka House Of Music & Entertainment? It's the old Mandarin Restaurant space on Camden and word just in that Tony Gad (Dennis Anthony Robinson), founding member of British reggae group Aswad, is behind this venture. As the name suggests, expect dinner and shows performed by local and nationally known R&B, Jazz and Classical Music artists. Sounds similar to The Darby in NYC. [EaterWire]

WESTLAKE—Midtown Lunch relays news that The Park's Finest, the Filipino barbecue operation which first talked about going post and beam last August, commenced lunch service and new dinner hours last week. [ML]

SF VALLEY— Today singer Bobby Brown was charged with a DUI (and driving with a suspended license), following Monday's run-in with police where he was pulled over for talking on his cell phone then registered .12 blood alcohol level in a breathalyzer test. [TMZ]
