Yesterday, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund filed a lawsuit against The Ivy on Robertson alleging that owner Richard Irving fired an employee, Reymundo Martinez, because he was HIV positive. Irving states, “We had no idea he was sick while he was working for us...He never told us he was sick. When we let him go, we didn’t know he was sick.” [LAT via GS]
