Chris and Mike Simms, owners of Manhattan Beach's pubby beer spot Simmzy's (among other neighborhood haunts), will open a second Simmzy's in place of Shore House Cafe at Long Beach's Belmont Shore. Mike Simms was able to secure a license to serve alcohol until 11PM during the week and until midnight on Friday and Saturday; right now the plan is to offer 30 rotating taps, 15 red/white wines, and sangria. Estimated opening: April 1. [LAW]
