Hey, guess what, Planet Dailies offers "MIXOLOGY," incase you missed that. Headed by Joe Brooke, nonetheless. So, actually, better drinks here to come such as Maestro’s Special Fizz (Capri Natura Limoncello, lemon sorbet, fresh mint, prosecco) and Farmers Martini (choice of frozen Tanqueray 10 or Stoli Elit, blue curacao, Salvatore’s Bitters, Champagne).

While many booths are still covered in plastic, Planet Dailies is on target to open March 12. This is the second American restaurant, first born in Vegas, from the good people behind Planet Hollywood. The LA branch is a bit toned down though as compared to the original, however there are still flatscreens aplenty and a repeat of that wooden paneling.

What's up with all those tvs? Planet Dailies LA looks to be less of a coffee shop and more of a interactive, entertainment-centric outpost. Supposedly Extra will broadcast from here.

Chef Adrian Tenorio is finalizing his menu which, as compared to Vegas, is more upscale and focuses on local/market driven produce. Possible menu selections could sounds like BBQ Duck (whole-roasted Ddck with Chinese BBQ sauce, rice, cilantro), Ham & Fig Pizza (prosciutto, Mornay sauce, fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes), and Tamales (cornmeal mash, peppers, chicken, herbs, sour cream).
