Beachwood Cafe Serves Breakfast and Lunch with Limited Hours, Goes Full Force April 1

New, 7 comments

Beachwood Cafe in Beachwood Canyon is the refreshed and renamed neighborhood canteen opened by Patti Peck (Millie's Cafe and Edendale Grill) in the space that previously existed as Village Coffee Shop. James Beard award nominated architect Barbara Bestor (Intelligentsia, Pitfire Pizza) modernized the interior with new flooring, fresh paint, and slightly different wallpaper in keeping with the cafe's former cozy, unfussy vibe.

While Beachwood Cafe doesn't officially open until April 1, right now the eatery is operating with limited hours daily from 8AM to 3PM. A farm-to-table breakfast (eggs, pastries, French toast, granola) and lunch menu (burgers, sandwiches, tofu/brown rice bowls) is in play, and select house-made goods like jams, pickles, and hot sauce are for sale to go.
