Izaka-ya by Katsu-ya Next Headed to Sherman Oaks

Katsu Uechi's popular 3rd Street (and newer Manhattan Beach) sushi stop and Japanese cookery The Izaka-ya by Katsu-ya just celebrated its 5th birthday, and now the Katsu-ya Group is expanding the concept to the Valley, home to its other restaurants Kiwami and Katsu-ya Encino/Studio City. Operating under the name Little Izaka-ya by Katsu-ya, a new branch will replace Sushi Fukyo on Sepulveda just south of Ventura in Sherman Oaks.
