Culver City's beloved Surfas Restaurant Supply and Gourmet Food, a fixture among professional and home cooks for all things restaurant and food-related since 1937, is launching a sophomore effort in Orange County. Word on the street is that Surfas will open "a storefront in an upscale high-end shopping mall," and according to an employee, this second shop is currently in the works and could open at the end of this year or early 2013.
