LACMA's main floor restaurant, Pentimento Cafe, quietly closed late last month. Representatives at the museum say only that it is a "temporary closure" while they remodel the space. Patina Group still controls the space, but was unavailable for comment about whether it would be re-branded as a new concept or open again as a shiny new Pentimento. [EaterWire]
