Three months post Drago shutter, Usuisha Argentinean steakhouse is born. A project helmed by Javier Pardini and Luciano and Pablo Alcorta of Malbec, another Argentinean restaurant with locations in Pasadena and Toluca Lake, here in Santa Monica the team has reworked the dated Drago space to include clean white walls, exposed brick, and a handsome new bar. So far Yelpers seem pretty content with edibles, Usuisha serves mostly a surf and turf menu, heavy on the turf. Open for both lunch and dinner, hours of operation run Monday 11AM-9:30PM, Tuesday to Thursday 11AM-10PM, Friday 11AM-10:30PM, Saturday 5-10:30PM, and Sunday 5-9:30PM.
