Kristofer Keith is just about ready to unveil his newest Spacecraft design creation, Faux Pas. The space near the corner of Third & Fairfax was most recently Rama, and Celadon before that. While the outside remains covered in Spacecraft's signature black plywood, the interior has been entirely redone.
French bistro chairs and red leather booths mingle with a rustic fireplace and antiqued chandeliers and mirrors. The bar is a central component, and it's fully stocked with beer, wine, and liquor. The French-American menu will be based upon locally sourced ingredients, according to chef Oz Ramuco. Brunch and dinner will be served daily.
While Keith is a partner in the project, the business is operated by United Culinary Artists, a restaurant operations management company. General Manager Jessica Davis comes from a corporate restaurant background, and is excited to welcome the eatery's first guests next week. Faux Pas will be open Sunday-Wednesday from 11AM until 12:30AM and Thursday - Saturday from 11AM until 1:30AM.
