Laurent Quenioux Relocates to Good Girl Dinette, Now Cooking with Ant Larvae

New, 2 comments

For the past year French chef Laurent Quenioux, proprietor of the late Bistro LQ, has staged somewhat of a residency at Starry Kitchen downtown via his LQ@SK "pop-ups." But, starting May 7, LQ plants his flag in a new home, Good Girl Dinette in Highland Park.

Resys are open for May 7, 8, 21, and 22, two seatings are offered per evening, and a five course meal costs $58 exclusive of cheese. Alcohol is BYO. For those squeamish about bugs, do note that the dinners on May 7 and 8 focus around escamoles or ant larvae which is harvested from the roots of the agave (tequila) or maguey (mezcal) plant in Mexico.
