HOLLYWOOD— Mozza's Scuola di Pizza chef Chad Colby has been preparing his top notch house-cured Italian meats, pates, and terrines during Mozza's family-style dinners for quite some time now, and last year he won Cochon 555 with an impressive spread. So, it's no surprise to hear that the Scuola is launching a Salumi Bar starting May 31, to be held every other Thursday thereafter, no resy required (6-10PM). On offer, in addition to the meats, pickles, breads, two entrées, and some veggie preparations. Bastianich wines by the quartino or bottle. [EaterWire]
BEVERLY HILLS— The Beverly Hills Hotel turns 100 years young on Saturday and, mostly appropriately, will celebrate with a $100 cocktail and 10 other celebrity-themed drink specials. The 100 Year Sidecar - a mix of Hennessy XO cognac, Cointreau and lemon juice - is served up in an engraved coupe glass (yours to keep) rimmed with gold leaf, natch. [LAW]
HOLLYWOOD— The shuttered Shin Korean barbecue spot on Wilcox is still up for grabs at $12k a month. The 3,200 square foot restaurant/bar comes with an enclosed patio and CUP for hours of operation from 10AM - 2AM daily. Interested parties should contact this guy. [EaterWire]
