Although the interior is still incomplete, Señor Fish soft opened Friday on W. Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park, as reported by The Eastsider and Echo Park Now. The eagerly anticipated Mexican seafood spot from Enrique Ramirez started in 1988 as a Highland Park street-side stand and has since grown into a bona fide Los Angeles chainlet with six other Señor Fish restaurants around town. This particular space was initially slated for a December debut, but the usual permitting delays pushed the launch back by months. While the walls are still bare, the bright, open eatery sports a tall exposed ceiling, booths, and a smattering of four-tops.
