HOLLYWOOD— Apparently, May is National Hamburger Month, and thusly Fukuburger is offering a "Sumo Burger" challenge for the rest of this month. Basically, the restaurant will "Sumo Size" any burger on the menu into a two and a half pound monstrosity priced at $40. And, Fuku will cover the cost of the burger for all guests who can consume it in under 20 minutes. [EaterWire]
MID-CITY— The SLS Hotel has opened its rooftop Altitude Pool Deck to the public Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch. José Andrés, who is SLS' Culinary Director, created the Mediterranean/Cali menu. [EaterWire]
