AROUND TOWN— A sharp-eyed reader sends over the following: "Am I the only one who's been seeing these Black Flag/Foie Gras stickers around town? This was on Fairfax. My buddy saw some downtown too." [Eater Inbox]

MID-CITY— A couple updates by way of Son of a Gun/Animal. 1) Barman Daniel Warrilow's new drink menu is in full effect at Son of a Gun, he has added Tiki-Cones and House-Fermented Shandies, as listed here. 2) Animal has a few last minute cancellations for tonight's foie gras dinner co-cheffed by Ludo, M.Volt, and Roland Passot (by way of SF). HOLLYWOOD— Apparently, May is National Hamburger Month, and thusly Fukuburger is offering a "Sumo Burger" challenge for the rest of this month. Basically, the restaurant will "Sumo Size" any burger on the menu into a two and a half pound monstrosity priced at $40. And, Fuku will cover the cost of the burger for all guests who can consume it in under 20 minutes. [EaterWire]

MID-CITY— The SLS Hotel has opened its rooftop Altitude Pool Deck to the public Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch. José Andrés, who is SLS' Culinary Director, created the Mediterranean/Cali menu. [EaterWire]
