The LA chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA/LA) has narrowed down the list of candidates for this year's edition of the Restaurant Design Awards, as decided by architect Mark Rios, chef and KCRW radio host Evan Kleiman, and chef Michael Voltaggio of ink. Together they've selected 16 finalists, as listed below, and if you feel strongly about one venue or another, get in on the action and cast your vote (until noon on June 18) for the People's Choice Award. All winners will be revealed on June 22 at the LA Convention Center as part of Dwell on Design.
