Egyptian Lounge, Ramses, Aims for Summer on Sunset

New, 3 comments

Joy Frasier, a candy store owner, has partnered with a number of locals to open Ramses in the old Kassava space on Sunset across from the Andaz. Kelly Architects is in charge of the build-out and redesign. Seen above, some initial renderings of the space. The exterior is going to include a large patio and alcove seating. Gold will be used throughout in paint, decor, and furnishings. The permits are all approved by West Hollywood; the owner is looking to start construction in June. If all goes well, this ancient Egyptian king should rise this summer.
