Tribal Cafe Opens New Location in SiLa, More to Come

New, 12 comments

Off-beat, cult-favorite Tribal Cafe spawned a second location just off Beverly, near Robinson, in Silver Lake. The cafe soft-opened last Saturday, and is now serving customers morning, noon, and night. This location offers the same menu of veg-friendly fare as the original eatery on Temple. There are green smoothies, and the usual vegan and vegetarian salads and sandwiches. Tribal also offers meat and fish, though they emphasize their attention to the environment when choosing proteins. Deli sandwiches are hearty and salads are large, most entrees range from $5 to $8. Bohemian decor and colorful flags, signs, and fixtures complete the vibe. Owner Jozak Bautista plans to continue expanding this concept, as long as the fans follow. [EaterWire]
