For those who have tried to dine at Umami in Los Feliz, this outpost is shuttered for two weeks (as of April 30) to take care of kitchen, plumbing, and other structural upgrades. During this time feel free to visit Umami Urban in Hollywood, which also recently went under the knife and now boasts a more open floor plan, new custom Asian furniture, Edison bulbs, and more patio seating. The kitchen was also expanded which should speed up cooking time. [EaterWire]
