1) Glendale: Thrillist reports on two-day-old Eden Burger Bar, a modern concept both in design and menu execution. Burgers, which all cost $10, are cooked medium rare and sport a variety of toppings from cabernet wild mushroom sauce to tzatziki. Eden's menu isn't relegated to burgers, there's a section for "Artisan" pizzas, salads, and sandwiches, all priced $10 and under. Beer/wine to drink, open daily from 11AM to midnight.

2) Highland Park: Despite its shabby facade, three weeks into business, Fusion Burgers on York Boulevard has attained a sold four star Yelp rating. Opened by 22-year-old Manuel Munoz and his father Manny Sr. in a small strip mall across the street form Maximiliano, the small burger joint makes its relish and ketchup in-house for, as its name suggestion, 12 fusion burgers priced around $9. There's a truffle burger, an ahi burger, a triple pork burger, and a Mexican barbecue burger, just to name a few. 5933 York Blvd.
