SaMo's Dakota Lounge Starts its Second Life on June 30

Two years ago Dakota Lounge, the restaurant and live music venue on Wilshire in Santa Monica, endured a conflagration devastating enough to shutter the property for two years. Since then management slowly rebuilt the space from the inside out, and as of April the plan was to relaunch in May or June. Grub Street repots that Dakota makes its soft comeback on June 30 with a birthday celebration for original owner Alex Fieglein. An official launch is set for July 21.
