Both of The Tasting Kitchen chef Casey Lane's hotly anticipated eateries, The Parish and Itri, have hit delays. While The Parish is currently dealing with City permitting issues and is now looking at a late summer debut, Itri, pictured above, is aiming for fall. As a quick refresh, this is Evan Kleiman's former Angeli Caffe, which Lane overtook a couple months back, masking the space behind plywood. Until this morning. Here now a look inside Itri, certainly in transition mode. Early signs of a beer/wine bar are taking shape, and that octopus rotisserie is partly in place. Check out all that exposed brick, subway tile, a vastly different look and layout from Angeli.
