SAN DIEGO— Gavin Kaysen of NYC's Café Boulud will return to San Diego’s El Bizcocho inside the Rancho Bernardo Inn on June 7. Kaysen joins chef Tom Dowling of JC Resorts and current executive chef Nicolas Bour to kick off a farewell dinner series before the restaurant shutters for a $2 million remodel in September. Both Kaysen and Dowling are El Bizcocho alumni. The five-course fete is priced at $225 ($275 with wine parings) and proceeds benefit the Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center.
