Live Music & Craft Cocktails at The Virgil in E. Hollywood

New, 10 comments

The Little Temple on Santa Monica Boulevard at Virgil is now The Virgil, a new craft cocktail bar currently soft open with an official launch set for June 22. Louie and Netty Ryan of the Townhouse and Del Monte Speakeasy in Venice here created an evening haunt in which half the venue is dedicated to a lounge (with jukebox) serving a monthly rotating seasonal drinks menu (fresh juices, house-made syrups, hand-cut ice, that kinda thing) devised by Brandon Ristaino (Thirsty Crow), meanwhile the second half of the space serves as a live music venue and dance hall. On this side the bar mixes a classic cocktail menu focused on Central and South American spirits. The Virgil is open Tuesday to Saturday night, but the live music area operates only Thursday to Saturday night. [EaterWire]
