Steven Arroyo's heart broke when he shuttered Cobras & Matadores last Valentine's Day. However, the mourning did not last long. After removing the restaurant's old neon sign, Arroyo papered over the windows and mostly kept a tight lid on the venue's replacement. Until this week, when new signage was spotted for an offshoot of his popular nearby taqueria, Escuela. Arroyo says he hopes to open La Otra Taqueria Escuela by mid-July.
