It's not too late to score a ticket to this year's Taste of the Nation. This Sunday, The Lot in West Hollywood hosts the annual food fundraiser for Share Our Strength. The organization, dedicated to eradicating childhood hunger, has been hosting the tasting circuit in Culver City for the past five years, but brings it further east this time around. Sample tastes from Culina, Loteria, Joe's, Cook's County, Lazy Ox, The Charleston, Whist, BLD, Scoops, Border Grill, Ray’s & Stark Bar, SimonLA, ink.sack, Lukshon, Sadie, UMAMI and Father’s Office -- among many others. Plus, there will be a beer garden, cocktails, DRY soda, and coffee from Intelligentsia. Basic per person price is $110. Given the amount of food available, that's like getting four separate tasting menus in a single afternoon. Do it for the kids. Tickets. [EaterWire]
