Signage was recently posted for Bocca Steakhouse, giving new life to the former Coco's on W. Pico, a block east of Robertson. A second location of Encino's Bocca "Steakhouse-Fusion-Lounge," this kosher spot serves quite the odd assemblage of Wild Mushroom Candy (wontons stuffed with mild mushrooms and cream cheese), Brisket Taquitos, and a version of tandoori chicken. In addition to expected Americanized pasta plates and surf/turf preps influenced by countries near and far. No word on opening date. [ELA]
