The Garden opened its doors on Woodman Avenue in Sherman Oaks exactly a month ago, though management only held a grand opening last week. Although the remodel took longer then expected, owners are excited that the neighborhood has already embraced them. On the menu is a basic selection of standard American cafe fare priced between $6 and $15, with plenty of salads, sandwiches, soups and main courses for lunch and dinner. There's a wood-burning oven and a full pizza menu. Most requested dishes so far include the short ribs, macaroni and cheese, and Chinese chicken salad. A wine/beer license is pending and free parking is available in the adjacent lot. [EaterWire]
