Osaka to be Reborn Next Month as Tavern on Hollywood

Well. It was only a matter of time before someone snagged Adolfo Suaya's Osaka, a short lived but long tracked Hollywood haunt that was not quite primed for the nabe. Souren Tutundjian, partner in Tavern on Brand in Glendale, will next launch Tavern on Hollywood in the Osaka space, slated to open around August 15. Think a similar such concept to that of his Glendale American bar and grill. Happy hour specials, Taco Tuesday, and an a extensive beer selection. Certainly a more appropriate addition to Hollywood Boulevard. And in the next year or so Tutundjian is planning additional such concepts in the vicinity. [ELA]
