10 Speed Coffee Coming to Calabasas via Pedalers Fork

New, 2 comments

Bike riding, coffee, and seasonal eats collide at Pedalers Fork, a new cycling-themed farm-to-table restaurant headed to Old Town Calabasas in November. Check out the above pictured renderings by MAI Studio (Gjelina, Zinque) which include a full bar, outdoor patio/beer garden, a 10 Speed Coffee shop (from Hood River, Oregon), and a cycling boutique. Why restaurant + coffee + cycling? Partner and cyclist Gideon Kleinman explains, "the total idea revolves around the cycling lifestyle that melds healthy food, fresh baked goods, beer, and some of the finest coffee found anywhere. We are looking to create a destination unlike anything else and are working to build a community around this multifaceted establishment."

Coffee will be roasted daily on site, from single cup drips to cappuccinos. Kleinman anticipates around 40 rotating beers on tap in addition to an extensive bottle list. Sam Baxter of Providence is slated to take the kitchen. [EaterWire]
