Philippe Chow Moves into Maison Maurice in Bev Hills

Philippe, the overpriced Chinese restaurant from former Mr.Chow employee Philippe Chow, bowed off of Melrose last month and word on the street was that the eatery would relocate to Beverly Hills. And BOOM here it is, Philippe Chow has snapped up the once Maison Maurice space on Wilshire at Carson. Signage quite obviously up, doors papered over. Is this location an improvement over its last home at Melrose and Sweetzer?
