The Produce Project at Handsome Coffee, Dining Deal at AOC, More!

DOWNTOWN— Those handsome boys at Handsome Coffee Roasters have a new produce pop-up happening in their coffee shop on Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. The Produce Project is a joint effort from Sarah Delevan and Shaheda Sadhal, over right a selection of their goods. [EaterWire]

MID-CITY— Chef Suzanne Goin's restaurants are never cheap, so it's nice when one offers a dining deal. AOC is serving a three course prix fixe (four courses if you count dessert), available nightly, for $45. [EaterWire]

AROUND TOWN— Chef and LA food personality Evan Kleiman may have folded her longtime Melrose Ave Italian haunt Angeli Caffe, but Kleiman's food lives on. Today via listserve, Kleiman announces that she will be teaching a pie-making class at Gourmandise on August 4, a tomato canning class on September 22 at a private downtown loft (email here for resy), and one can also book her for a private dinner/cooking party by emailing here.
