Good news for fans of popular, hip eastside wine and oyster refuelery, L&E Oyster Bar. The cozy six-month-old seafood server is growing upward into a second floor space just above the restaurant on Silver Lake Boulevard. The Eastsider brings word that the expansion will nearly double L&E's seating capacity, meanwhile management is also looking to pour alcohol later into the eve. A public hearing is planned for August 1 and, if approved, L&E will gain permission to serve alcohol from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
