White Eames for Herman Miller chairs and wooden Alvar Aalto stools are the seating options of choice at C+M or Coffee and Milk, the new Intelligentsia-brewed caffeine hub, bakery, and sandwich spot open yesterday at LACMA. The small cafe fits in seamlessly with the contemporary art museum, which already plays host to the art-centric, seaonally-inclined Ray's and Stark Bar, though now also offers a place to catch a quick bite in the morning starting at 10 a.m. through daily museum hours. Farm-to-table sandwiches, pop tarts and hand pies from pastry chef Josh Graves, plus milk sorbet dessert sandwiches and shakes to dine-in or take-out.
