Susan Disney Lord to Relaunch Bel-Air Bar & Grill this Fall

Bel-Air Bar & Grill, located on Sepulveda Boulevard at the corner of Moraga Drive (behind the Chevron station), has remained shuttered for "renovations" since April 2011. The restaurant, currently owned by Susan Disney Lord (Walt Disney's niece), is in the midst of completing a massive overhaul and should reopen this November.

Lord also purchased the adjoining building out of which she will run the Roy Disney Family Foundation. This structure will contain an additional dining room for private events and catch overflow from the restaurant. And last but not least, Lord plans to relaunch "The Shack," a to-go operation adjacent to the eatery serving sandwiches, coffee, soft drinks and the like.
