Chynna Dim Sum Lounge is set to soft open on August 4, with a public debut scheduled for September 1. Its Little Tokyo Galleria location was previously the home of Vault XXI, which faltered after a fatal shooting. The new restaurant features a dim sum menu with over 20 varieties of small plates, as well as an ensemble of draft beers and cocktails. In addition, the management team behind Ktown's Cafe Bleu plans to serve a bevy of classic HK cafe-style dishes. Honey walnut shrimp paired with that last round of Hite-soju bomb just became a reality. [EaterWire]
