Don't try to hit Capri on Abbot Kinney anytime soon. The incubator for pop-ups Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, followed by the days-old installment of newcomer AK Supper Club — cheffed by Thomas Keller alum Kevin Kathman and Dustin Taylor of NYC's Waverly Inn — has shuttered. Yo! Venice! discovers that under a Daily Candy ad for AK Supper Club, Kathman writes, "We are super sad to say we are closed. Until we have an agreeable contract with the owner. We r done." Meanwhile, on Saturday night, original Capri owner Alona Hamilton-Cooke (Capri is now in control of Dave Reiss), said of the shuttered pop-up: "Someone at the restaurant is having a personal problem and we are unable to open this evening."
