Coffee, as previously mentioned, is Intelligentsia, pastries are sourced from Bouchon Bakery and Cake Monkey, and soon-to-launch lunch will include soups and sandwiches from Bouchon and new baked goods from "a well known place on 3rd street," says PR. DOWNTOWN— Great Balls on Tires, the food truck going brick and mortar on the ground floor of the New Genesis apartments, has encountered opposition to its proposed liquor license. Since New Genesis will house some previously homeless tenants who might be going through addiction recovery, some involved with the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council doesn't support the establishment serving booze.
